Cheque Processing

A cheque was deposited in ICICI Bank Green Park, New Delhi Branch on 31st October on my name. The person who deposited the cheque missed writing account number on the slip used to fill in the details of the cheque and dropped the same into the drop box.
Subsequently, the cheque was put on hold until I called up customer care on 05th November. It was conveyed by customer representative that an application needs to be submitted to any branch of ICICI across India with correct account number. The application was deposited in Tardeo Branch in Mumbai to Officer Rajni along with all the details on 07 November.
While Officer Rajni confirmed that the same will be processed in 2 working days, it was until next 4 days that i realized that the cheque was not processed and still on hold. Subsequently, i visited Tardeo Branch of ICICI bank in Mumbai on 8th November, 11th November and the same was never processed.
It was until 13th November when i logged a complaint against Officer Rajni and Tardeo Branch and visited the branch for the fourth time on 14th November, the delay on the cheque was followed up and it was told to me by officer that Delhi RPC Head is not processing the cheque and due the compliane logged, now they are following up tightly with Delhi RPC. It was assured that the cheque would be cleared in next two woking days which end on Saturday 15th November and credited to my account but until today 16th November End of the Day, the cheque is not cleared and is still held with the branch.
I feel humiliated since i just have 40 rs in my pocket for my weekend and to reach my office in Mumbai (where i am deputed on a project).
