FD amount not credited after maturity

Hi

I have a savings bank account with icici bank noida. I booked for a 390 day FD with the bank through Phonebanking on insistance of a telemarketing executve. The phonebanking person said that since I am applying through phone banking, FD receipt is not required and I can see the details online. The amount was debited on 14 August (maturity date 07 sep 2008) an could see my new FD account online. Then, the matuirty date passed and the amount didn't get credited to my savings a/c. I asked the customer care and they said the FDR has been sent to me by courier which needs to be deposited in the bank branch. I contacted the bank branch and explained the problem. The bank staff told me that I need to get then an indemnity bond indicating loss of FDR and asking for a duplicate FDR. They said that they will make the duplicate FDR and then accept that to credit my account with the maturity amount. They also said they will not pay me any amount for time the maturity amount is overdue. I am feeling so much harrassed and wronged. Firstly, I was given false information at the time of booking my FD (unfair trade practice). Secondly, I am not even given a savings bank rate for the overdue time (against the RBI ruling). Thirdly, I would have to spend money for preparing the Indemnity bond for which there is no reimbursement from the bank. Please help me. I am available on 91 9818711404.
