CREDIT CARD CHEATING

Hi, I did a transaction of 10, 996 using my credit card. I was sent a statement of 10.500 which i paid before the due date. After that the bank sent me a bill of 896 where they have added 400 Rs of Interest which i don't understand as i had paid whatever they asked me to pay on time. This is Cheating and i would like the consumer court to take action against the bank.
