Unauthorized Transaction from my Credit Card

I’m holding an ICICI Bank HPCL Gold Credit Card # 4477 **** **** 6000

On 8 June I received a call from ICICI Lombard for a health insurance policy. I consented them to send me the policy papers at my home address but as soon as the call was disconnected I received an SMS from ICICI bank that an amount of Rs. 8640 has been debted to my credit card account. I have not given any signatures or my CVV number for this transaction and I do not wish to make the payment on the basis of a simple telephonic conversation which was marred by network interruptions.

The dispute was not suitably resolved at the Customer Care Centre on phone, neither in the credit card department nor at ICICI Lombard

I DO NOT AUTHORISE ICICI BANK OR ICICI LOMBARD TO TAKE THIS PAYMENT FROM MY ACCOUNT IN ANYWAYS WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE ON A RELEVANT DOCUMENT. This kind of lacuna was not expected from a bank of your repute whom I trust with my salary and other personal informations.
