ICICI Credit Card
Unauthorised transaction follow-up

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have a credit card numbered 4477xxxxxxxx5009 with ICICI and have been clearing my payments on time.

On july 21st 08 i have been billed by ICICI on behalf of Yahoo.com, this transaction has not been authorised by me. ICICI has expressed its inability to elicite an response from Yahoo.com and has taken cover behind a point stating that the complain was registered after 90 days.

To be noted:

The monthly statements from ICICI has not been delivered on a regular monthly basis.

My intimation on this disputed transaction was on October 14th and not October 30th 08 as claimed and this is well within the 90 days specification.

This case clearly illustrates the apathy of ICICI in helping an individual and fining him for unjustified reasons. In absence of ICICI's support in taking up the issue with the concerned vendor (Yahoo.com) i require assistance to approach the consumer court.
