Undue late payment charges

I have made purchases on my credit card on July payment due was 1310/-. For that month I have not received statement. On Oct I received statement with amount outstanding 2390/- This includes interest and delayed payment charges. I called up their call centre & asked to reverse the amount. The call centre executive promised me to reverse the charges If I paid entire amount. Accordingly I made entire payment of Rs. 2390. And now I am find to my surprise that they have again levied late payment & interest of Rs. 530 Instead of reversing it.
