ICICI - Fixed Deposit
Unable to close FD on time

Hello,

I was having a few FDs on ICICI Bank which was opened through internet. On an emergency, I tried to close the FD and was unable to do it with net banking. They gave a message to drop to the nearest branch. When I dropped to the nearest branch, I am told to go to the home branch where FD is taken and I should go personally.

I am in a crunchy situation where I cannot travel to my home bank and is very much inneed of this money. It is still possible to create FD on internet, but cannot close it..

No intimation was given on this change of procedure..
