I had taken housing loan in ICICI and now due to the high interest rates I m switching over to IDBI bank coimbatore. IDBI coimbatore has processed my loan request and it is ready to give the loan and I they had requested for one document which is List Of Documents (LOD) on the letter head of ICICI bank.

ICICI has clearly clarified that they can issue the LOD on a plain white sheet of paper with the Banks Seal and they dont issue it on the letter head as per their policy. Now I am caught between these two banks for the transfer. IDBI coimbatore alone has told that they cannot approve the loan since it s LOD is not in their letter head.

Other than this issue I dont have any other problem with the bank related documents I had to submit.

And the branch manager of IDBI coimbatore tells that its his decission to give away the loan and there is no Bank policy as such to look into it. Please let me know what has to be done on this regards.
