Hi,

With reference to the above Vodafone number, I would like to bring to your kind notice the harassment faced by myself when I wanted to discontinue the services permanently, which finally have come to the extent that I am in receipt of Legal Notice from your solicitors for payment of dues for services rendered to me in the months of Jan-08 & Feb-08, wherein I had stopped using the number from Dec-07 onwards after activating a new Vodafone Post paid connection (9920429891).

However even after repetitive calls to the Customer Care, visits to the Vodafone Store-Kalyan, the number was not disconnected and was put under “Temporary Suspension” (against my request of permanent disconnection) and the same came to my notice only in my latest visit to Vodafone Store- Kalyan on 30-Jun-08, which I made to seek the clarification for the notice sent to me for the charges which was raised on me for the services not used by me and for no fault of mine. Further more on the same visit i.e. on 30-Jun-08, your executive named Ms. Suhana who I met for the settlement of the issue, conveyed to my shock that Vodafone have not received a single request from my end for permanent disconnection of the services on Vodafone no.9819164249 (Conversation with Ms. Suhana recorded by me and attached herewith). This despite submitting my written application twice at Vodafone Store in the month of Nov-07 & Dec-07 respectively to your executive name Mr. Kushal over there and once directly faxed to Vodafone Customer Care at 66661200 on 16-Nov-07 (Scanned copies of the same attached herewith)

Please note that if as per your executive Ms. Suhana, Vodafone has never received any request either by any of the modes like written application, telephonic request through Customer Care Helpline or by Fax, as I did as per the detailed mentioned herein above, how can I receive an confirmation letter from Vodafone for receipt of my request for suspension of services dated.13-Nov-07 (Scanned copy attached herewith)

Further more over my receipt of a bill for same number for the month of Jan-08, when I called up your Customer Care number somewhere around 15-Feb-08 to inform enquire why the bill was generated when I had submitted written application to disconnect the services in Dec-08 at your Vodafone Store –Kalyan, that call was also recorded as complain call for poor network and not for the actual cause which the call was made by me (This piece of info was also shared by Ms. Suhana after checking my Cust. Care call log as per your records)

I am a customer of Vodafone for over 4 years now and Vodafone has been my preferred GSM Service provider ever since my first mobile connection. However considering the horrible experience with Vodafone since Nov-07, I am forced to re-think my loyality towards Vodafone and I feel very sorry to say that after my Vodafone connection (9920429891), which is again a corporate connection since I am working with ICICI PRUDENTIAL, I will never ever use Vodafone as my GSM connection.

I got an mail from vodafone customer care after the above escalation to their top management that all the charged in my said account were being reversed and the same stands closed. However I again received am mail from them after almost a year saying that this a/c is still showing an amount pending against my name and i have not resorted to pay the same after repetative follow-ups with them, which is totally baseless statement and a flat lie.

Company who have their Advertising campaigns with “Happy to Help” theme focusing on Customer Care which is utterly meaning less and out of focus in the context just to lure more customers when they are not even able to manage their existing customer base satisfactorily.
