Idtheftrefundstatus.com isone of several sites set up by a ripoff "ID Theft Protection" service that gets you to check a box in a payday loan application, which automatically enrolls you into the service. It is a monthly fee of $33.98 that is debited as an electronic check each month. The scary part is that it only appears as a madeup check number on the statement... there is NO identifying information on the bank statement. After a few months of noticing this same unrecorded check, I finally had to pay to have an copy of the electronic check. But, when you call the several different numbers for this company... you always get Katie, the company sap that has "canned excuses" for everything!!! Ripoff... majorly!!! They should be shutdown... now. They prey on the poor!!!
