Defective product/deficiency in service

I bought an IFB washing machine Elite 5 KG on 15.9.2007 from Chellamani & Co. Chennai. Since then the machine was running at excessive noise while spinning. we made many complaints. each time technicians (within a period of 22 months more a dozen different technicians have attended) of franchisee will come clean sometimes de-scale and will declare 'the machine is ok now' . On 12.3.2009 the machine behaved violently making some breaking noise. fortunately we were at home and were able to switch off immediately. on complaint a technician (Mr. Sridhar) came. when he opened the front portion (for the first time inspite of repeated complaints) and found that a main screw/nut fastening the drum to the machine was missing. (THIS IS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT). Inspite of repeated complaints, the Co. (IFB) did not depute any official from their company eventhough they have an office in Chennai until 19.7.2009. Apart from supplying a defective machine they also indulged in deficiency in service by not rectifying/detecting the defect in time. When the packing was opened on 17.9.07 for installation, the technician (Karunamurthy) complained that a 'connector' was missing. we had to wait until 23.9.07 to get the machine installed which was bought on 15.9.09.
