IFB Washing Machine Elite 5kg
Defective Machine>compalint no 2875245

Dear Mr. Dasgupta,

I have upgraded my old IFB machine to Elite 5kg last Oct 08. Since then I am facing recurring issues: Current complaint number is 2875245

1) The timer knob goes free and has been changed thrice (once the technician himself ended up 'freeing' the knob)

2) In case the machine and water is not switched off immediately post the cycle and the clothes are taken out after an hour or so, the clother get drippingly wet again and they have to re-dried. Your technicians have changed magnetic valve thrice to no effect, the problem recurs

I have been regularly complaining and have escalated to your service managers, Mr. manish Lodha and Mr. Amit Anand, there have been more than 15 different technicians who have attempted to solve the issue but failed miserable. There has been no resolution at all and I am feel IFB has palmed off a defective piece and I have wasted my hard earned money.

This lacklustre approach is shameful and amounts to mental harassment. I seem to have no option but throw the machine away and reinvest in other brand. I would request you to kindly arrange to pick up the defective piece from my house and reuse/ resale to another gullible consume
