Goof-ups in admission process

For course PGDHHM, I applied first in Nov for Jan batch. When after waiting for several months, I didn’t get any communication; I sent IGNOU Ahmedabad Regional centre a letter. I got a reply dated July 11 (F. No.70/ RCA/ 5184) that I was selected and given enrollment no. 082362270. They sent me letter by speed post on 13-12, WHICH NEVER REACHED ME. The funniest part is they didn’t care to assure that their letter reached me by any means- speed post receipt, e-mail or phone-GIVEN in application form.

MY ENTIRE YEAR WAS LOST for no fault of mine.

I again applied in June for Jan batch for the same course (Appl. No. A-091133). I received acceptance form on the evening of 6 Jan by speed post (dated 31/12, posted by them on 2/1) that I should pay my fees by draft before 6 Jan otherwise my admission will be summarily rejected. How preposterous. I live in a city 300 km away from their regional centre.

They gave me enrollment no 091988144, by which I lodged a complaint on IGNOU website, but after typing all details when I submitted, the site told me that no. is not valid.

HOW CAN THEY MAKE SUCH A JOKE OF THE ADMISSION PROCESS?
