FHS Exams

Students got registered for BCA programme last year and appeared in BCA -I semister in Dec. Students appeared in 3 papers and one of these was FHS. Now university is saying that the paper was not supposed to be taken and you will have to take the same examination again in June. Students prepared for the exam, spent time and now would have to again spend time on it irrespective of the fact it is the fault of university who did not know if the exam was to be conducted or not. Why did not University notify in Dec itself that this paper is not applicable. In any case why don't the university take the same papers in account and get those checked and declare the results in June session. Students would have to suffer and again read the old subject that has 8 books to read and that too was informed now when it is less than a month in exams.
