Change of Name on PAN card

Concerned & Responsible Authority:

It is really sad to come across such poor quality of service from a Income Tax Department.

Case is pending since almost 2 months nothing has happened.

Giving a call on Helpline at Mumbai & Gurgaon is a waste of time since no body knows what is the status. Only one reply I get, "your application is with Income Tax Dept"

Does it take 2 month for the change in PAN card.
