Is it necessary buy new stove when getting new connection

Hi

I am R. Sivakumar, applied new connection 2 months ago, also now connections is approved. But agencies (Maruthi - Thrimangalam, Chennai) comple us to buy stove. I hope no need of this. Please suggest us.
