I am an existing customer of Sri Saila gas service avialing Indane gas. Customer No - 26169/A. When I got a new connection on 08-March-08 they provided me one Gas Cylinder and a regulator. I wanted to apply for the second gas cylinder on the same connection. When I went to the distributors shop requesting for the same, he just written down my name and the customer number in the note book. Further he told me to wait for a letter from Indane upon which he will issue me a second Cylinder. When I asked about the estimated time such letter takes then he rudely replyed me satying we are not issueing second cylinder on the existing connection from year 2006. He told me that he has written down my request and now I have to wait for the indefinite time till then time I will receive the letter. Shouldn't I been given some receipt for the request I have submitted for the second gas cylinder. Is noting down in the notebook suffice the process of application. I don't have any proof for my pending application with the distributor. I just have to rely on his words. Is it a normal process in such request.

Please let me know what is the right way to proceed in this case and how much time it takes to get me a second gas cylinder on a existing connection. Also I would like to know that the cliam made by distributor of not distributing second gas cylinder on a existing connection from 2006 is true or false.

Please help me to resolve this issue.
