Indane Gas
Forcing to take Gas stove with new connection

I want to take a new INDANE gas connection from Guru Kripa, Gurgaon. But with a new gas connection they made mandatory to take a gas stove worth 1800 Rs which I believe don't worth more than 500 Rs.

Please advice how I can take new connection without gas stove from gas agency. Is it a goverment stated compulsion?
