Supply of gas cylinder of expiry date

Dear sir i'm writing this mail from asansol west bengal. It is regarding our cooking gas cylinder supplied by indane through sahuwala gas agency.they are supplying the cylinders which have already expired in 2008 and if we complaint they take back the cylinder saying that it ok to use and there is no risk of any blast as the agency have checked it up.we are confused as the cylinder has an expiry date printed and the authorities are not ready to follow the instruction pl help.it can be life threatening.
