OUTSTANDING QUERRY

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a Combatant member of Indian Air Force. At present serving on official duty at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I am holding a Saving Bank Account at canara bank Extn counter Viman Nagar Pune.

I have the follwong querry:-

(a) I was issued a cheque bearing #435289 for Rs 10755/= by High Commision of India.

(b) The same was deposited for action on 08 Aug 09 at the above mentioned branch.

(c) The Cheque was forwarded to New Delhi Cannaught Circle Account Section officially.

(d) The same was turned down at N.Delhi stating "40- PRESENT WITH DOCUMENT".

Further action by me:-

(i) Counsulted (CM Accounts of Cannught circle New delhi) telephonically to inform me the

reason for not accepting and what is the meaning of this objection.

(ii) I have send 04 e mails (on 16, 22 & 29 Sep and 05 Oct 09) till date, but I am getting no

solution to the problem.

(iii) It is also not understood that similar type of cheques of my friends have been actioned at

Canara Bank/other bank at other Branches.

REQ: KINDLY CONFIRM ME THE TRANPARENT REASON FOR NON ACCEPTANCE THE CHEQUE AND REASON FOR NO REPLY FROM cmacdelhi@canbank.co.in
