Missing of Connecting flight due to Incoming flight delay

We had booked tickets for 5 persons from Hyderabad to Coimbatore via chennai on 05th Oct :

Hyd-Chennai-Indian-Dep-16.25-Arr Chennai-17.25

Dep-Chennai-Air Deccan-Dep-19.50-Arr Coimbatore-20.45

The bookings were made on 26/9. Unfortunately on 5/10/07 the incoming flight from Hyderabad (Indian) landed at chennai only by 19.45 hrs by which time the Air Deccan bound for Coimbatore had left. We were stranded at Chennai Airport with no flights to Coimbatore. We have obtained a letter from the Airport Duty Manager-Indian to this effect. Kindly let us know how to proceed further.
