Shame on Indian Customs Officer - They started stealing!!!

Sir,

To whomsoever it may concern.

I want to complain about the Customs Officers of India.

Currently we are here in US.

On Aug 8 we had send a parcel to India which contained 2 saris and 2 shirts.

But today when my parents got it in India they found that that the parcel cover was cut from the middle and sealed back with a cello tape.

And the proof that we have is the custom's declaration written by us before parceling which was attached to the parcel and was there when my parents got it too.

Only after bringing it home and opening it my parents found that there was only 1 sari and 1 shirt inside it.

Where did the other pair go??

I really feel ashamed of the dirty, greedy person who did it.

I see similar complaints on this site and I would like to know what steps are being taken against such crimes.

Why people have fallen down to such extent?

These are the real criminals, who should be punished. They are also thieves.

If it happens once it is fine. But I see there is no end to it. It was happening and still happening till date.

Why are the culprits left like that.

Strict rules should be imposed, live cameras should be put in the room.

We are ready to provide whatever proof is needed.

But we want an answer.

Please take this request into consideration and let me know what action is taken against this.

Hope such things won't repeat.
