Delay in Transfer of NSC

I had submitted application for transfer of NSC to P.O Kendriya Vihar, WB 700052 for transfer of multiple NSC from P.O Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur - 713212 datd 12th October. As per SLA, the turaround Time is 15 working days. Now when I had submitted application for redemption of NSC on maturity the Post office refuses to accept the application on the grounds that the NSC were not transferred.

The Post office also refused to show records of transfer from the post offoce from where the certificates were to be transferred.

Now I am stranded with Rs 50, 887 matured amount not being handed over to me. Al that I get is a reply ' What can we do if the certificates are not transferred from the Bidhan Nagar P.O".

I am frustrated with the non-cooperation from the postal department which is plagues with inefficiency and red tapism
