I am currently based in Dubai. My father had sent medicine through Indian Post Air Mail service on 05.03.2009 at 11.14 IST to Dubai Po Box No. 5239 from Kendwa bazar Post Office - Kulti. My father had informed the post man about the urgency in delivery and the post master asked my father to send it through Air mail. They charged around Rs 650/-. However when the good was not delivered till 17.03.2009 my father wenrt to the post office to enquire and he was told that you should be knowing how postal services in India fubctions. He said that it takes around a month for local post to be delivered than how can he expect for a international parcel to be delivered within 15 days. He also did not take any complaints and told my father that he would accept any complaints only after 1 months. The parcel contained medicine.
