NON-REVERSAL OF BERTH LOCATION IN RAILWAYS

Earlier, in 3 tier AC and 3 tier sleeper coaches, additional berths were added by railways without thinking a bit. Due to major inconvenience to the passengers, the additional berths were removed.

Surprisingly, in Chennai bangalore express, it is found that the modifications done are not fully reversed. Ie. abnormal increase of height in side berths remain to be as it is. It is impossible to get in to the top berths and also very inconvenient to laydown because of less height of berth to ceiling. Frequent travellers like us are forced stop using 3 tier AC.

Request the concerned authorities to modify this to bring back to original condition.
