I happened to travel from Madgaon to Thrissur by 6335 nagarcoil express, on 26/4 which took about 14 hours. No TTE visited our coach S3 till I reached Thrissur to chck tickets or allot seats.

At Mangalore, some Trivnadrum bound gang of bachelors entered the mostly family occupied compartment and occupied the seats and birth reserved for us. One can imagine, the way these people agonise the family men by speaking with doublemeaning words and staring at the ladies. It was really a horrific situation. Nobody dared to encounter them becasuse they were about 12 in numbers.

Had i have to travel one more night in that train, like my co passenger, who was terrified because he has to travel upto Nagarcoil, I would have got down at the next station. Railway is charging for sleeper at day time. The autorities have the responsibility to see that the family is protected in all ways, throughout the journey. Strict action should be taken for neglect of duty of the concerned, and the rogues.
