Complaint against TTE

My brother, 17years old was travelling by Rajdhani Express from Gauhati to New Jalpaiguri today, the 4th Nov.

His ticket details are as follows:

PNR: 6348767752

Coach/Seat: B4 0047

Just before the train reached NEW BONGAIGAON, the TTE demanded Rs.4000 from him or asked him to disembark at NEW BONGAIGAON. A 17-year boy will not be travelling with Rs.4000. So my brother had to disembark even though he told the TTE that when my uncle comes to pick him up at NJP, he ll make sure that the TTE gets his money. TTE did not budge and my brother had to get down.

What the TTE did is not even close to anything humane.

NEW BONGAIGAON is a disturbed area. What if my brother had been kidnapped or lost. Who would be responsible. He was travelling on a confirmed ticket with an identity proof, there is no reason he should have been harassed in this manner.

I want strict action taken against this inhuman character. Today is Diwali and everyone at home is so upset with this whole issue.
