LATE DELIVERY OF SPEED POST

A Speed post which has been given booked on 30-07, destination city Bangalore, from the city Hyderabad reached to the mailing address on 07-08. The EMS NO IS (EN623225666IN). My query is that if we book a post under normal post it reaches to the city from that that particular city it reaches within 3 or 4 days. Then what is the point of sending through Speed Post. I have contacted to the post office regarding this and according to them the volume was very high at that point of time, because it was during the Rakhi Festival. But before booking the post we have confirmed with them and according to them it will reach to the address on time that is within 3 days. But where in reached to the address after a weeks time.

Then what is the point of using the speed post service, where in they promise to send it on a priority basic.

Moreover when u contact to the post office on this matter the response from is like they don't care about this. So I want to take forward a complaint on this matter. The amount of physical and mental torture that the service provider has provided on this matter who is responsible for this?
