Defective Items Received & No response from Company

I had ordered a 4 CDs set from ITBC, and i was promised a free gift of watch with the order.

On receipt of the CDs I noticed that two of the CDs were damaged (scratches, leading to jumping of the tracks) as their cases were damaged. The third CD does not play on any of the Music Systems, although it plays on the PC (only). Further, i realsied that i have to claim the free gift separately (on the net) and for that I will have to wait for another four weeks.

I wrote twice to the company at the mail id provided on the product (on 15 Aug and 30 Aug 09), but have not yet heard from them. Further, i am yet to receive the free gift also.

Such insensitive behaviour from a group belonging to the esteemed 'India Today' is actually surprising. They need to be more responsive to customer complaints. when it comes to tele marketing, i receive so may calls from their call centre, but those personnel do not want to address the customer complaints!!
