This was an offer for 12 weeks of ECONOMIST at Rs.1100/-. Here the auto-renewal option is PERMANENTLY - PRE-TICKED!?!

You don't have a choice - to un-check, if one does not wish to auto-renew.

What annoyed me - today morning was the 'auto-renewal service' presents itself with a TICKED option.

after submitting (R's) card (debit), I am unable to UN-CHECK this auto-renewal. I do not / may not - wish to 'auto-renew'.

I have abandoned the subscription page!

Where does the ethics issue arise? Or Are you taken for granted?
