Respected sir/mam,

I have bought used car from an individual 10 months ago by way of oral agreement along with his rc book. When i brought from the concerned person the registration year was mentioned as 2006.But when the ownership is transferred to my name the registration year has changed to 2007 by mistake of rta person. Now I sold my car to another individual. We wrote agreement of sale and in that we mentioned that registration year as 2007 according to rc book which we got from rta. Now the person so called as vendee came to know that the vehicle registration year is 2006.He brought all the documents from showroom related to servicing of car and previous accidents of car which happened in 2006 itself. Now he is threatening me that he will file complaint on me in both consumer court and also as cheating case. I dint write any sale agreement when i purchased except the ownership transfer. How should i defend myself. Please help me out. I dint do any mistake to my knowledge. It is the mistake of rta person. If the vendee approaches in legal way what kind of legal actions i need to face.
