Defective autorikshaw mete

I took autorikshaw No. GJ-1-AZ-8257 at 6.30 PM from Naranpura very near St. Xavier School to go intercity bustop at Geeta Mandir. This rikshaw had a flag down meter and not the round meter. The meter started running as soon as the vehicle started. On pointing out the driver said that meter is supposed to run that way. At Geeta Mandir the meeter read Rs 5.40 and the driver took Rs 54 from me. He also showed me a printed chart where Rs 54 was printed against Rs 5.40.

I travel regularly between these points about twice a month, every time taking the same route, i.e. Ellis Bridge, Swastik Char rasta, Vijay Chowk and to St Xavier. I have paid between Rs 38 and 39 for the juorney, either way.

This meter was doctored.
