Gross negligence

I am a resident of West bengal, I took my daughter for her checkup on 16th july, she was asked to undergo a number of pathological tests. Next day i.e on 17th we reported at 8.30 AM with empty stomach, they pricked twice and sucked half a dozen vials and asked us to come after 2 hrs for another sample.

The reports were supposed to be handed over on friday i.e 24th july09. She went on 25th i.e the next day. TO OUR GRETEST SURPRISE SHE WAS TOLD THAT WE HAVE LOST ONE OF YOUR BLOOD SAMPLES YOU BETTER COME AGAIN ON 31ST JULY TO GIVE YOUR SAMPLE AT 8AM HAVING EATEN BREAKFAST ATLEAST 2 HRS BEFORE.

How simply can they say a patient to come again for giving blood. Is this the same Ganga Ram Hospital which was known for its service, or this is the one who only knows how to make money.

Instead of going to Dr. Lal Path Lab Cannought Place we relied on Gangaram but this kind of GROSS NEGLIGENCE has disheartened us. Never know what blunders could happen if blood samples are lost or changed

Over all they were not even ashamed of there negligence neither they regreted for their deed nor did they aqpologise. THINK ONCE AGAIN.
