Incompetence of the institute members

Just to share my experience with the members of IAI over a period of time: have posted same in another link as well.
The functioning of the people of the institute is abysmal. The "sarkari" style of functioning breeds incompetence, something which the members of the institute are seemingly proud of. They take weeks to respond to the most trivial of queries and most often, they never respond.
The quality of mails is shockingly pathetic for a government institute. It is no wonder that government offices symbolize the image that they project. They do not action even the bare minimum of their responsibilities. I have even corresponded with the director (Mr. Vaish) on basic issues and he seems clueless as to how things function. Mr. Gururaj is equally outside the loop in resolving issues.
A shame is how Id describe the functioning of the members. And to add to it all, they do not even source/publish the material themselves. It is rather copied from the Actuaries Institute in the UK. Implies that even the bare minimum work the institute members have to action on, is a burden on them.
