Not recived my Pf amt

I had worked with above mentioned company from oct 07 to dec 08. My Pf A/c no. is MH/94725/41453 I applied for my PF amt. in the month of May 08. But Still i had not recived my amt. as per govt. rule i have to get my amt. with in 45 working days from the date i applied the PF amt. But my company HR told me that they are having our PF A/c in Maharashta they release that amt. after one year when we apply for the PF amt. It is correct or not.

If this is not correct please guide me what can i do to get my PF amt.
