Modem take too much time to connect

From last few days our modem is not connecting easily everytime it takes about half to two hours to connect . our modem is from bsnl broadband . the yelllow light showing internet connection keeps fluctuating the whole time until finaly it connect . its quite frustating . plz kindely pay attention to our complaints.
