Wrongly charged for late fee

Although I have paid an amount of Rs. 2000.00 by cheque no. 602947 (HDFC Bank) on 07.10.2009 which is reflected in your statement dated 10.10.2009 where minimum amount to be paid was Rs. 1678.11 and due date was 30.10.2009; but you have charged a late fee of Rs. 350.00 vide statement dated 10.11.2009. This type of wrongly charged late fees are not acceptable. I do not accept and will not pay this amount. Would request to correct and send me a fresh statement so that the same can be paid by me.
