We subscribed to Broadband Services of IOL Netcom Ltd, in Mumbai around a year back.
The quality of service provided has been very bad with regard to connectivity issues, Fibre breakages, Server down time (for 2-3 days at a stretch).
Emails to the company always go unanswered, their fax number listed on their web site doesnt work and getting through to them by telephone is an impossibility.
Whenever we do manage to get through to the Customer SUpport Number the normal reply is that 'problem will be resolved in a couple of hours'. That couple of hours leads to half a day, sometimes the full day and sometimes 3-4 days.
Also we feel that their Customer Support does not maintain a log of calls made to them and they never give us a Complaint Number when asked for. Follow up thus becomes very difficult.
Since January 01 the net had been down for approximately 40 days as per our calculation which according to us is a very high percentage of downtime, with no one in the organisation answerable or even willing to come on the phone.
