Cataract Operation

My father went through cataract operation around 8 months ago in Faridabad. He was operated by Dr. Bharti Gupta. Doctor Bharti Gupta told us that your father has black cataract and it needs to be operated immediately. He told us all the charges of black cataract surgery. We agreed and my father went through surgery. Ever since my father got operated by Dr. Bharti he is experiencing blurred vision, pain in eye and water comes out from his eyes. My father is suffering from this problem from last 8 months. We have been visiting to the doctor for 8 months for same problem.

As per doctors statement there is no problem with eyes or surgery done by him. Every time we go to doctor he writes an eye drop and tells us that he will be ok. Last time I personally visited to the doctor to understand the problem and asked him why you are not able to fix problem permanently then he tells us that my father has Black Cataract and because of that he suffering form blurred vision, pain & water fall from eyes because it created pressure. I was shocked to hear that because as per his communication and our understating my farther was operated for black cataract then how come this is possible. Then he told us that your father was operated for white cataract not for black cataract. We asked him then why it was not cleared to at the time of operation he says it is all written in your documents. A Lay man cannot understand doctor’s language. He has cheated us we paid him Rs: 18000/- for operation. We want to make a complained against him and would like to understand what best can be done.
