Delay in processing home loan

Dear Sir,

I have submitted the application for house loan for an amount of Rs. 12 lakhs on 13th June through SBI- Dharmottal Branch, Kolkata. Till today (14th Sept. '09) no news of approval/status of loan was communicated to me. Verification of Property, Office, Legal etc. are done. But no news about the sanction. I am in dark. In the website (FAQ) it is clearly written that maximum one month is required for processing the loan. So what is the status?
