Credit card fee

Chase is now charging my credit card $10 monthly "service fee". When I spoke to a supervisor in the credit card department, I was told that the little amount that I have charged and the low interest rate that I have locked in did not offer Chase a significant RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT, and therefore, I had to be charged an additional fee.

We also have checking and savings accounts with Chase (the same ones for over 25 years!), have never missed a payment, and have a nearly perfect credit score.

I know that if I were a delinquent customer in any way, that would surely be used against me. However, we are responsible customers whom Chase would rather lose than waive a nominal fee.

We are in the process of choosing another institution to do business with, and will be sharing our story of deceit with everyone we know.
