JVLR road - MMRDA
Many Signals and bad road conditions

JVLR which is WB funded project is having 10 signals between WE Highway and L&T junctions (distance less than 5 kms). Most of this signals for main trrafic is operated for less than 90 secs which is badly planned. This bad planning is slowing traffic on JVLR. Signals should be removed and keep bare minimum, build bridges for pedetrains for people crossing JVLR. Keep signal on time for main traffic to be not less than 180 secs and side trrafic to be 30 secs.

Remove unauthorised parking of vehicles - ambulances, trucks from JVLR.

Repair the roads in front of IIT campus immediately to make traffic flow smooth and faster.

Repair stretch of road just before signal at entry of bridge over L&T (coming from Jogeshwari). Pot holes and inciomplete road slows down traffic badly. Bottle neck near road running over pipelines is main cause for traffic snarks ar JVLR.
