Currently I am residing in a small society of 123 units in pune. We have houses in 4 different configurations - 1/2/3 BHK flats and row houses. Our current committee has calculated Rs. 700/- as monthly maintenance charge per unit without considering the flat sqft area which largely differs from 550 sqft to 1700 sqft.

I just wanted to know, whether the way our committee has calculated the charge is right or wrong.

As per my understanding, it should be on sqft basis.

Please provide some help on this matter.
