Hearings deliberately delayed

1. Complaint lodged with EPF Vashi on 30.10.2007

2. Enquiry started in February

3. Enquiry ended in April

5. Outstanding dues of Rs.38, 49, 000 intimated to the School Authorities on 29.05.2008

6. School Authorities agree to pay during the next hearing.

7. Till date no hearing has been conducted, it is avoided by the EPF Officials on one or other pretext

add to it School authorities also extend their best hand in delaying the hearing.

8. The retired persons are put at loss. Is EPF Vashi waiting the death of all the retired people?

9. More than a year has passed the EPF Authorities at Vashi have not conducted any hearing or

taken any steps to recover any amount.

10. Several letters informing the PF Authorities that the School authorities are deducting, withholding,

recovering the Employees & Employers contributions for PF from the employees pertaining to the

past period had no effect on the PF Authorities making everyone feel that there may be a nexus

between the two authorities.

11. You, in your capacity are requested to look into the matter if you also don't happen to be any part

of the nexus or atleast if we can expect some relief from your good offices.
