Refund Order for Relinace Power IPO not received by registered post

I am, Ravi Kumar Jain, one of the unfortunate applicants of the Reliance Power IPO that happened in the month of January. The details of my application are as under

Application number – 24320996

Application money - 25, 875/-

Refund Order (RO) No. 1909526

Refund amount - Rs.18, 565/-

Date of dispatch of RO - 2nd Feb

problem - RO Not yet received

I have got the allotment of 17 shares for the IPO. However, I have not received the refund amount (Rs.18, 565/-) till date. I have sent e-mail (on 18th Feb) to the official mail ID, provided in the application, enquiring about my Refund Order. I was informed that my RO is been dispatched on 2nd February, which has not yet reached me. As per the instructions given on the Karvy’s website, I religiously went and enquired at both our local (Kachiguda and Barkatpura) and central post office (GPO) about the post, only to find that they don’t have the post with them. I visited these post offices five times in the last three weeks, only to listen to the same answer from them. This is a clear case of mishandling or missing of the post.

Having left with no option I e-mailed to your office narrating the whole issue. Adding to my frustrating experience, I have not got any clear communication but for a standardised mail responce from the customer care department.

Telephone line for the number given in the application form is being eternally engaged, and the fax line doesnt respond (I tried to fax the companit letter more than 30 times in last two days)

I request Karvy to kindly arrange for refund payment through ECS to my bank account. In case of payment through cheque please send it thorugh courier to my address as updated in my DP account. And please send me the courier tracking code and date of dispatch.

I hope to get my money back soon.
