Regarding change the part

Hi,

I have got a gift of Microwave Oven of Ken star in my marriage in Dec and in few months one part of the Oven is got damage and i complaint it in the Kenstar b'coz it is in the warranty period the service man came and first said that provide the warranty card we provide it and then he say provide the bill also we don't have the bill as it was gifted item so we could not provide the bill so he said with out bill we can not change the part and now the warranty is over pls suggest that what we should do and the part cost is Rs. 2100 told by the service man.
