Train Halt at Ernakulam North

I happened to travel by Intercity Superfast Train from Bangalore City to Ernakulam last Sunday (26th July). I had taken a ticket to Kottayam Directly from Bangalore in the hope of getting Venad Express.

Venad express which used to touch Ernakulam Junction earlier was a convenient connecting train for passengers of this day train who had to travel beyond Ernakulam to Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chenganoor etc. As Venad now does not touch Ernakulam Junction, I like several others were left high and dry with no option other than to wait for the passenger train till 6PM. This was when Venad Express was waiting at Ernakulam North when our train passed by. I feel that it is only fair for all trains to halt at Ernakulam North also especially since almost all trains to South of Ernakulam does not touch Ernakulam Junction. I hope that concerned authorities will look into this oversight and do the needful at the earliest and also acknowledge my grievance.
