Kirloskar Electric Transformer - 100KVA
Failure to attend

We have a 100KVA Kirloskar Dry resin type Transformer in our building at Calciut, Kerala. This burned off and we didn't have power supply for 12 days. We contacted the local office of Kirloskar in Cochin. The Branch Manager directed us to contact the service technician in Coimbatore. He in turn directed us to a Dealer in Calicut who handles only generators. Till date nobody from Kirloskar even bothered to find out whether it was set right or not. My question is why do Kirloskar have a Branch Manager stationed here? Just to draw a monthly salary for no job done? Doesn't he know there is someone in Calicut? If so why did he direct us to Coimbatore? If there is a dealer in Calicut then doesn't he know that he deals only in Generators and not Transformers? What responsibility does this company have on their products. Are they interested only in Sales and not after sales service? This costs nothing less than Rs. 4.00 lakhs and it burned off in just 7 years, whereas many others last for 25-30 yrs.
