Camera is in warranty period.want replacement

My cam is in warranty period.it has been not working properly.so i took it to the service center in kolkata.they told me dat there is some liquid in the mother board of the camera.they are not replacing it.we bought the camera on february.we belong to a middle class family.to us 6000 rupees has a great value.we want help.to inform u my camera was safely kept n locker.there is no chance to enter water in it.
