Wrong determination of the Product

That the Octroi Collecting Agent M/s Konark Infrastructure Ltd. is harassing the people by determining the value of the product very high on the ground that rates mentioned on the papers submitted to then has been undervalued. It is an insult to the business community. Therefore thru this letter, we request you that collecting agent should not be given free hand for deciding the rates of any product on their own specially when proper papers are enclosed.

On 23-05-09, the Octroi collecting Agent valued our material 42 % excess then the declared actual price of Rs. 128311/- (instead they valued it to Rs. 182800/-) which is highly unfair & unlawfull. The actual Octroi works out to be Rs. 2566/- @ 2 % on declared actual price of Rs. 128311/-.

Sir, it is totally unjustice, unfair trade practice and an example of creating terror on the part of the Contractor who wishes to fall us down to his mercy.

We would like to seek your kind support and help in the matter to run our business peacefully and smoothly.

We shall be highly obliged, if you kindly look into the matter to stop this type of unwarranted, unjustice & harassment type acts in our democratic system.
